The project is conceptualised to create a collaborative platform and establish a network for generating widespread understanding and appreciation for India’s rich biodiversity heritage and its relationship to human well-being. Our aim is to build a cohesive outreach programme for public engagement and to foster youth leadership in biodiversity related work.

Create and test models for youth-led local initiatives primarily in rural India towards decentalised, and locally relevant awareness and action campaigns.
Produce a range of communication products and initiatives to enhance public engagement, including offline and online activities, infographics, posters, video and audio materials, printed collaterals and activity-based approaches towards understanding and appreciation of biodiversity.
He is a political ecologist and a storyteller with experience in leading outreach and communications initiatives across sectors. He is an alumnus of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain.
Aditi is a development professional with a strong focus on environment communications. She holds an M.A in Social Work from TISS and has worked with CSOs supporting water governance and sustainable livelihoods in India.
She has worked towards conceptualising policy based on local people’s pluralistic understanding of transformation in environments affected by climate change. She holds a MSc in Climate Change & Development Policy from IDS, Sussex.
Nivedita has worked in Central & Eastern India on livelihood, health and sustainable agriculture. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Liberal Studies from Ashoka University’s Young India Fellowship, and a graduation in Energy Engineering from VIT University, Vellore.
Dr. Kishor Sharma is a conservation biologist with a PhD in Zoology from Sikkim University. His thesis is on the "diversity and distribution of bird and butterfly communities in the indigenous farming systems of Sikkim". Kishor is a passionate bird and butterfly watcher, who also loves to travel, trek and interact with people on the go.
Nimisha Agarwal is a climate campaigner, allyship mentor, and feminist practitioner. She completed an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in climate change and agriculture. They have worked in digital advocacy spaces across India, New Zealand, and South Africa..
